Over the last 6+ years, I’ve owned analytics for high-impact B2C products at TripAdvisor, Swiggy, Jar and Mashreq Bank – working on 0→1 launches, large-scale experiments and growth/retention problems across web and app. My sweet spot: turning messy product questions into clean hypotheses, crisp metrics and clear “do this next” recommendations.
What I actually do day to day:
- Design and read A/B tests that don’t lie
- Go from raw event data → SQL/Python → dashboards that people actually use
- Build core KPI frameworks, alerting and UX/product dashboards for pods
- Partner closely with PMs, Eng, Design and Growth to influence roadmaps with data
Tools & toys I enjoy:
SQL, Python (Pandas, experimentation, statistics), A/B testing, product analytics (Mixpanel/Clevertap), Tableau/Power BI and lots of time in funnels, cohorts, and clickstream data.
Beyond the IC work, I like acting as the “analytics owner” for a pod, being the single point of contact for data, creating reusable frameworks, and helping teammates think more analytically (training, reviews, and playbooks). My next step is to lean further into lead/manager-style roles where I can own bigger problem areas and grow an analytics team.
