Built backend microservices in Go to manage the lifecycle of platform plugins in a cloud-connected architecture. Designed REST APIs and health endpoints using Go's standard net/http package. Built Kafka consumers with IBM Sarama to process asynchronous events across distributed services. Improved service resilience by implementing retry with exponential backoff, Circuit Breaker, and Dead Letter Queue (DLQ) patterns for reliable message processing, including publishing failed messages to dedicated DLQ topics for operational visibility and controlled recovery. Instrumented services with custom Prometheus metrics to monitor API performance, Kafka consumer health, processing latency, and failure rates. Wrote table-driven unit tests using Go's standard testing package to improve code quality and maintainability. Containerized services with Docker and deployed to Kubernetes; built CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI and Make to automate build, test, and deployment. Standardized repository structure and automation scripts to improve developer productivity and enable AI-assisted development workflows.

Built backend functionality to monitor GCP resources via GCP REST APIs and scheduled polling services. Implemented polling workflows for network-related GCP entities, covering data collection, transformation, and persistence to SQL Server. Designed YAML-based resource templates for metadata extraction and field mapping from GCP API responses, simplifying onboarding of new resource types. Integrated newly discovered cloud resources into existing observability features for seamless visualization and monitoring. Added VM lifecycle management (Start, Stop, Restart) by integrating GCP Compute Engine APIs into the resource management workflow. Built a configurable data faker utility to generate large-scale synthetic cloud resources, enabling large-scale validation of polling performance and scalability. Collaborated with frontend teams to expose backend REST APIs consumed by Angular UI components; optimized SQL Server storage for efficient querying and visualization.

Implemented certificate thumbprint validation to authenticate and verify collector agents, strengthening communication security between collectors and server; delivered end-to-end across backend service, WPF client, and security workflow integration. Extended the system's health monitoring framework with security health indicators, enabling administrators to identify certificate validation and trust issues. Integrated Azure Guest Invitation functionality via Microsoft Graph/Azure AD APIs for secure onboarding of external users. Built and maintained backend services for identity and access management in a .NET-based server application. Delivered WPF desktop application enhancements, bug fixes, and usability improvements across multiple releases. Collaborated with Angular and Electron teams to ensure consistent behavior across desktop and web interfaces.

Built features for VisualIDE, a Visual Studio extension supporting Unisys-specific programming languages and workflows. Implemented an automated migration workflow converting legacy projects into Visual Studio solutions, eliminating manual project setup and simplifying developer onboarding. Designed a WPF-based integrated explorer unifying Windows file navigation with Unisys project navigation, reducing context switching and improving productivity. Developed custom WinForms editor components replicating legacy Unisys editor behavior within Visual Studio for a familiar user experience. Researched Azure Migrate and built a proof of concept for migrating on-premises VMs to Azure; evaluated Azure Arc and Azure Advisor for hybrid cloud management and infrastructure optimization.
