Uh, I am Avnish Kumar Bergman. I have around 8 years of overall working experience, uh, which includes the traffic designing, UI UX designing, and web designing. And, uh, if you're looking, uh, particularly for, uh, UI UX Designing, I have around 3 years of experience. Uh, in my previous company, I was responsible in both, uh, graphic designing and UI UX Designing. In graphic designing, I was responsible to create daily social media posts and marketing collaterals for marketing teams, uh, such as brochures, flyers, emailers, and all. In your UX design, I was responsible to design a back end post logins, not back end. Sorry. Uh, design a post log in for our one of our product called Academy of Dental Excellence, uh, by maintaining the design system, the previous design system, and, uh, making these for dentists to take the course and attend the exams or tests and all. Uh, and, uh, I was also, uh, responsible to create the user experience for, uh, an app, uh, or medical app called expert online. Right now, this is not in live, but, uh, I can show you the demo of during that interview. I'm sorry. The right now, I'm respond I'm working as a freelancer, and I'm responsible to create a tech, uh, website for college students and teachers, uh, for a company called Acatalog in partner behalf, the place where I'm reside residing right now. Uh, thanks.
Describe a situation where you have to collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate user feedback into design. Uh, in my previous organization, there were no product managers. Uh, it was all it was all, uh, a small team working together, And, uh, I was the only UX designer there. Uh, and they didn't know that the UX design before. So, uh, we did, uh, got into a situation where I had to collaborate with developers, uh, to submit, uh, to change their design. Uh, this happened, uh, in an app for the expert online. During the interview, they had, uh, created we had created a several questionnaire, and we used to send it via, uh, MS Excel or, uh, Word form, uh, to the doctors. But, uh, I suggested them to, uh, why not we create our own form, uh, in our own website and, uh, send it to doctors, uh, for screening, rather than depending on third party tool. And we brought it into design. And, uh, same with, uh, Academy of Dental Excellence and all. Thanks.
Okay. Where do you have the design report? Uh, complex project, uh, I have I've worked on 2 complex projects. Uh, 1, I'm still working on, and second, I had worked on my previous company. They're still working on is, uh, an a tech app called a catalog college, uh, which is just an idea right now. Uh, it it will be designed for the college, going students and teachers, uh, to ease their education, uh, to lower their dependency on offline colleges, and they can create a community online. Uh, this is right now work in progress. But in my previous organization, it at the I do actually solutions. I had worked on with an app called, uh, Expert Online, uh, which was created from scratch, and I had to design both UI and UX. I for UX, we did a research, uh, with the competitors app called, uh, Fractal and then find to look out, uh, how they are dealing with the patients, how, uh, how much support they are creating they're giving for their doctors and all and the other, uh, features as well. And based on that data, we created a user persona, and we interviewed the, uh, with several doctors, uh, and several patients, like, uh, how they want to what they want to implement in the app, how ease they want the communication to be. And, uh, we implemented them using the wireframe. I implemented them using in the it in wireframe and created a prototype of that wireframe and present and presented those designs to our stakeholders. It got approved in faster around, and, uh, I was told to create a job UI design based on the wire string, and, uh, it is work in progress. Maybe I can show you once. Mhmm. Thanks.
1st, uh, testing of course, testing the usability of the feature in a profile and decide it's The first, uh, first thing is, uh, we design the information architecture on the user flow of the, uh, proto user flow of the product beforehand. So it will be easier for us to, uh, design on the screen, like, how we want to show inside the app, how we want to show the prototype and all. So it's easy to decide everything beforehand, uh, to in the planning phase, uh, rather than implementing it directly. Thanks.
Try to have process for identifying and resolving a common UX issue. Uh, you said this is easy, but this is one of the toughest question. Uh, process for identifying and resolving a common UX issue is understanding the problem first and, uh, looking for a solution, uh, and implementing them. Thanks.
Can you mention a method you use to manage the time effectively when working on that? Yeah. Uh, as I said, uh, in my previous organizations, I was working both as a graphic designer and UI UX designer. So I had to, uh, create my planning for daily, like, at what time I'll be creating the social media posts and, uh, what time I'll be creating the marketing collaterals for some marketing teams like emailers, brochures, posters, banners, and standees and all. And, uh, also, uh, I I had to take my time for consideration with the developers, uh, uh, for the meetings for UI UX Design. And, uh, yeah, it was fun towards juggle. It was fun to juggle when you have multiple responsibilities. But it is also easier when you understand, uh, what you when you have the clarity, uh, of what you will be doing that day instead of just getting time. Thanks.
1st, creating a UI component library. Uh, Yeah. Uh, I have created a UI component library, uh, uh, for export online and, uh, I have and, uh, Academy of Delta Excellence. Uh, I but I prefer using, uh, the design system which which is already available from beforehand, like Google's material design or IBM's carbon design. Though I prefer uh, Next. Js, this React and Next. Js, uh, design system. I'm perfecting the design system now, but, uh, I'm using it for my Etech, uh, this Etech app. So, uh, it does, uh, help us save some times and, uh, we can modify their designs. Uh, we can tweak the designs according to our preference in those, uh, components and design systems. Thanks.
An area where you had to balance your doubts between s t. Okay. Uh, when I started, uh, designing, uh, my whole focus was on aesthetics. Like, uh, it should look good, uh, and, uh, it should be eye catching or eye pleasing and all. Uh, I never I barely cared. I'm not I never cared, but I barely cared about the Zoom UX functionality. But, uh, right now, if you ask me, uh, after 3 years, what I have learned, uh, the first thing I prefer is functionality and, uh, user experience of the product rather than the aesthetic design. After after solving the UX functionality, after, uh, understanding the UX functionality, I prefer to look for the aesthetic design, like, how I can make the app look better or the website look better with maintaining the, uh, functionality or UX functionality.
Operate on a particularly challenging user flow you had had to design and the steps you took. Uh, Yeah. Uh, In the project called expert online, uh, I had, uh, I had very confusion, like, uh, how, uh, I'll, uh, I'll show the user flows. Or, uh, it took some time for me to design the information architecture like, uh, what I need to present in my screen and, uh, where the when I click that button, where it should go and, uh, I did had some problems, uh, since I was the only UX designers known to help. So I did a lot of research, a lot of tutorials. I did a lot of tutorials. Uh, but, uh, I learned many things, and I came up with solutions myself. On particularly challenging those which you said flow you have you have had to design. Uh, and yeah. And the steps I had to take is, uh, to look, uh, uh, once I had all the, uh, information architecture or user flow things, uh, I I I will look for the common names or common places which can which I can avoid and which I don't know the, uh, I mean, uh, which is not necessary for the, uh, screen or function. I skipped that done. Thanks. I'll confirm what I'm telling. Thanks. But I do know the answer.
Just right. That cool method you have used for tracking project progress and how it has okay. That tool, uh, uh, I I particularly didn't add a tool, uh, myself. Although we used to have Jira or Jira, uh, with both developers and testers to track our project progress. Uh, before that, we used to have, uh, Twilio, uh, for project deadlines like how we are dealing with the project deadlines and, uh, how far we have got and all. Other than that, uh, I don't think I have used others. Uh, that are then Jira and Perlook. Thanks.
Experience with user research and how would translate to, uh, explain your experience with user research and how you translate user feedback into actionable design improvements. Okay. Uh, in user research, I prefer, uh, I prefer instead of survey, I prefer to have user interviews with the end users and the other users and stakeholders. And based on that, uh, I create a wireframe based on their, uh, answer. I create a a number of wireframes which may be accurate or which may not be accurate. And, uh, multiple, uh, I I meant to say that, uh, I create multiple options of wireframes. Some may pass the test, some may not pass the test. And, uh, the ones which pass the test, uh, I try to create even beautiful or a better UI design that keeping the functionality in mind. Keeping the user experience functionality in mind. Thanks.
