You help me understand more about your background by giving a brief introduction? Uh, Hi. Uh, myself, Uh, I have completed my engineering degree in information technology from Central Institute of Technology, I have passed out in 2020. After 2020, I joined OsoSoft India Private Limited as a associate, uh, where I have worked as a business analyst in different projects, uh, equipment gathering, also help helping, uh, in client requirements, gathering client requirements, their needs, and help the technical team to develop a product, uh, which will, um, help the client to solve their business problems. So after that, I joined NISG, known as, uh, National Institute of Smart Government. Uh, as a executive, I joined there. And after that, I, uh, have gone to a training, uh, for as a functional analyst. Uh, they trained me with the help of, uh, different, uh, training modules in NIS. One of the training modules I have gone through in Oracle EBS 12.2, uh, functional module and, uh, HRMS module. They have trained. So in that, uh, EBS e twelve, uh, they are, uh, trying to develop an inbound, uh, ERP, uh, integrated module, uh, with the help of Oracle, because NIS need and a financial module and a HSM module to streamline and optimize, uh, their operations. So they're they give me any chance, uh, as a functional analyst in that inbound project. So how I, uh, have completed my tasks? The first task I discussed with the main, uh, stakeholders such as accountants, uh, and IT, uh, management or IT technical team. What are the issues they are facing and what are their basic requirement to optimize, uh, the process? So in a result, I am able to get and completed the workflow and completed the whole configurations. And in a result, uh, within, uh, 3 months, uh, the operation optimization cost reduced to 30%. So it's an agreed achievement, uh, and they have given a certificate to me that I have done an excellent, uh, job in inbound project. So after that, they deployed me in Assam and, uh, in the ERP, EPS 12.2, uh, project because the client want an HRMS inbound project in Assam. So I work on
Your experience with Oracle EBS 12. So, uh, EBS, I release 12. Uh, Oracle, uh, EBS release 12, I have worked in NIS in my past experience because NIS want an inbound Oracle EBS 12, uh, of finance and HRMS module. I have I help NISG to configure the systems, uh, requirement gathered from the IT teams and, uh, accounting and financial stakeholders, where I help them to configure and configure the workflow of the process so that, uh, our NISD inbound process should increase. Of course, before, I have already said that I have increased, uh, the optimization process by 30% in 3 months. And in Oracle, why NIS want to use Oracle EPS article? Because, uh, it's in a, uh, Oracle, it's in a enterprise uh, where they provide both functional and, uh, function of, uh, financial and HRMS and project management modules. And I see to take both, uh, functional and HRMS. Later on, they try, uh, interested and also try to, uh, integrate project management and the CRM tool. So it's in a good opportunity for me to get experience of, uh, EBS r 12 in 2 years, 6 months in and in my NISC experience. So after, uh, completed NA EBS r 12 configuration as a financial analyst analyst business analyst, uh, in NISG, I have, uh, done, uh, different requirement engineering projects in NISG such as, uh, in HRMS. Also, I have worked on in Assam, uh, where I have recommend gathering, make FRS, SRS, uh, in EBS, Oracle, incumbent over someone to, uh, build or integrate their Oracle, uh, EBS system with other stand alone stand alone, uh, softwares such as CRM and project management. So, uh, I help them to configure the, uh, ERP Oracle ERP Release 12 software. So where they records, uh, their data from, uh, their old, uh, legacy system to the new targeted system. So data migration is also a important factor, uh, in that, uh, Assam, Oracle EPS release project. So, uh, that is my overall experience. And in 2 years, 6 months in with Oracle EPS release 12. Yes. And thank you for your time. It will be a great that we can work together in EPS release 12, uh, Oracle soft. Yes. Right.
So if you lack experience in development, APARGL, easy integration projects from personalization, store procedures, DFF, customer reports, and configuration, AR APAR. What is your strategy to acquire, uh, these skills? So, uh, in a development or in a in a integration project, Reporting is, uh, a important component. So with the help of group, uh, this APAR accounting, um, accounting payables and accounting receivable and with integration with, uh, customer support or CRM. Uh, I will try to gather information, uh, through the reports. Firstly, I will, uh, try to see the workflow at present and, uh, finding the inefficiencies. Then I will try to find the queries that we're trying to retrieve data from CRM to the functional module that how the data is sharing from a CRM to GL and through functional group. So how GL is, uh, providing reports is is that reports is efficient or it's in a it's it's taking in a it's time consuming when it's generating. If it's time consuming, then, uh, definitely, uh, I have to see that that, uh, inefficiencies, how, uh, how we can give in a solution in that. Uh, if I get to a strategy for acquiring these skills, definitely, uh, I will go through the Oracle ERP Oracle ERP documentation where all processes a to zed were written and given. And, of course, uh, getting in the training, uh, from the Oracle trainers. And, of course, my, uh, project managers or manager, definitely, they will help me to gather that, uh, skills as soon as possible. At least they will provide any link or a process so that to gather that skill as soon as possible. And I give my assurance that within a few hours or or in a day, I can gather that skill with the help of training and AI tools. Right. Thank you.
Experience from APARZL is integration project from personalized store pro DFF and customer report. So, uh, if I give an a brief development experience for, uh, account payable, account receivable, and general ledger. So, uh, before that, Oracle has developed in a, uh, functional module where on where APARGUL we're sharing data, uh, with the help of transactions. But, uh, this process, uh, have, uh, no central repository in DGL, in the general ledger, which is quite difficult for to generate customer report or to, uh, for fine or to find a financial statement or balance sheet. So within that, uh, Oracle has introduced in a subledger, uh, accounting modular, which is also known as SLA. With the help of SLE, APARZL were were created in a event to the SLA, and SLA created a transaction, um, to generate a reports. So, uh, in my previous experience in NISG, uh, where I, uh, where it's I get some, uh, difficult to, uh, integrate APARZL directly to generate reports, uh, within a few, uh, seconds or a minute. But, uh, when we integrate SLE, it help us to generate a report within a second. The time reduced by 50%. So to get that result, uh, I talk with the stakeholders and, of course, the IT and technical management team that, uh, how we can improvise that, uh, APARGL development so that the the data can exchange as, uh, faster than the earliest so that to generate a report. First, I have checked the inefficiencies. 2nd, I am I I have checked the data mapping that schema is same or not because, uh, without getting a part same logic or same schema, the report generation process will take time. So, uh, data mapping, data profiling is an important component to, uh, develop such APARGL. So using customer reports also, uh, help us to generate a APARGL and also the user experience. With the help of user experience, we can develop APARGL and also as soon as possible with the SQL queries and optimizing and optimizing the process, we get to generate the customer report or stop procurement and, uh, personalized integration modules. So these are the things, uh, I have worked on it, and it's in a great experience of 2 years, 6 months in, uh, EBS release 12, uh, software.
In what sub ledger accounting within the Oracle EBS? Yes. Uh, sub ledger accounting is a is a module who who helped to create, uh, event to the general leader. When the old modules such as HR HRMS module, funds handling, uh, finance module, cash management module in within finance module, and project management module. And different modules will provide sharing data to DGL in the previous in 11i version of EBS. But with the help of sub ledger accounting, uh, the event the, uh, transactions before it started as a event. So it will create a event, and SLA and SLA will create a event, and SLA will provide a transaction to the ZL. So when a event is generated, uh, to SLA, SLA will check that, uh, event is accurate or not or that that that a SLA were able to check that transactions were, uh, genuine or not. After as I'm confirming by the SLA, it's convert to the ZL that a transaction that transaction is true, and you can create a account. So with the help of, uh, SLA, GL can able to create account. And after accounting, uh, they can able to create the reports. So Subledger is a a great module in in the EBS release 12 that reduce the 11 I of tackles what we faced in 11 I that were removed with the help of SLS, sub ledger accounting. Also, sub ledger accounting have its own, uh, programmable to retrieve data or, uh, getting any, uh, event or SLA sub ledger accounting has its own that I forgot that term. Uh, sorry. Uh, that is a, uh, own SLA, own repository, uh, which is very important because in the previous version of Oracle EBS, GLA has no, uh, repository itself. So SLA have that repository so to get and confirming the events and confirm to transaction. And after getting a transaction to, it's creating an accounting. And after that, they, uh, generate any reports. So these are the my, uh, little bit of knowledge of sub ledger accounting within Oracle ABS. Uh, I hope you understand what I mean to say. Right? Thank you.
Is this, uh, would you employ to handle, uh, an Oracle ERP system upgrade without disturbing ongoing finance sale operations? So first, um, I will, uh, discuss, uh, with the financial stakeholders the why they want to upgrade the Oracle, uh, ERP system and what are their basic needs and a pinpoint, and, uh, what are the main, uh, issues they are facing, and they and they want to, uh, update on that. Probably, they will say that they are not getting the financial reports on time Due to that, uh, delay in decision making occurs. So my first strategy to discuss with the stakeholders. 2nd, I will discuss, uh, with the IT teams. And according to that, uh, I will discuss with the technical team to configure the module. And according to that, the data sharing, uh, take process. And after that, I will, uh, monitor that process with the help of KPIs, key process indicators, which is a important tracking system in Oracle ERP. And, of course, the time and then how much time it's taking or data sharing from 1 module to other. And after, uh, keep tracking on the KPIs, I can able to get to know that what what are the processes I have to apply so that without disturbing the ongoing financial operation, I can upgrade the ERP system. And before that, of course, I have to talk with my senior managements that what are the best practices we can apply to take, uh, the to upgrade the Oracle ERP system because, uh, ERP system, Relif 2.2 is will they will give support till 2030 only. So these are the strategies I will apply in that particular situation. And after getting a good frame of user feedback, uh, I will deploy that system to the on premises, uh, SDCC.
Of creating a custom financial report within Oracle EPSR12MRM. Yes. Uh, the process of creating a custom financial report within the Oracle EPS r twelve. Uh, first, uh, the event has to take place. For example, if, uh, if we are doing any project, uh, for example, a web development project we are doing and and we want to get a financial report, a custom financial, uh, report to the, uh, organization. Firstly, the firstly, we have to, uh, firstly, the module will create the event. Then the event will go through SLA sub ledger module, and sub ledger module will, uh, verify with the help of, uh, bank details with the help of API in a bank or re conceivable report or finance sale, uh, statement report or with the help of cash management module. So after, uh, getting, uh, informations from lot of module, the SLA will give in a transaction to ZL general leader where the general leader will create a accounting. And after, uh, accounting is created, uh, the custom final report, uh, will, uh, create. So this is the basic process of creating a custom financial report, uh, from the, uh, system EBS Elise twelve environment. Or, uh, if I want, uh, for example, if I if we want to, uh, get the invoice to any vendor or if we want to if we received any, uh, invoice from a vendor or if we want to, uh, pay to a vendor or a, uh, or giving an invoice to a customer. Then, of course, the, uh, in a project management, there's a module call project management. There's a module call financial. There are module call HRMS where all, uh, informations help to make a event to the SLS subledger accounting module. And and and the process will go on through, like, the the the event will create the help of subledger module. Then subledger module will give any data to general ledger, and it will even giving any data, the transactions occur. The transaction after getting in a transaction in the GL, the GL will create the accounting. And after the accounting, they will finally get a report, example, such as, uh, balance sheets or invoice generated or a bank statement according to their need needs because it's a standalone software. Different departments may use different modules. Right? So yeah. Thank you.
Explain how you would configure the system to process intercompany transaction in Oracle EBS r twelve. 1st, I will go through the inefficiencies that, uh, or how we can configure the systems, uh, to process of, uh, intercompany transactions because Oracle have a features from, uh, taking in a transaction with the 3rd party. So it is an a, uh, isn't it isn't a good feature so that, uh, we can get any invoice from our same company or same or different departments, or we can get an invoice from a customer side. It's in a process where, firstly, we have to create any user ID and a, uh, hierarchy, uh, configuration. After that, we'll go through the configuration process of, uh, creating an event to the SLA so that the data transaction may occur. And, of course, the query should be optimized so that, the data can share in a particular, uh, process with the help of rules that we assign in that particular process. So with the help of that, uh, we can, uh, process the intercompany transactions with the help of, uh, Oracle EPS r 12.
Data migration strategy for a merge merger where the finance data from 2 companies 2 different companies need to be combined. Oracle ERP data migration strategy. Uh, 1st, of course, uh, Oracle ERP data migration is a process where defining a clear logic is very important. So in a data migration process, uh, there is a there should be a source system where where the data can generate, uh, in a particular, uh, standardized, uh, format. And, of course, the destination system or target system where the data should stay in a particular centralized system so that the 2 datas when it's transferred from source system to the targeted system, the data should be in the same structure or same schema. So with the help of ETL, extractor first will try to extract the data in a particular format. So for that, we have to clear a particular form. And, uh, within that Oracle form, um, I think you already know that Oracle form is generated from a Java, uh, Java, which is, uh, which which is very helpful to create schemas using JDK. So, uh, firstly, within that, uh, extraction process, then after extraction, the data will go through the transformation process. After in the transformation, we'll clean the data. We'll standardize in a particular format. And after getting in a particular format, we'll load that data to the targeted system. This is the basic, uh, data migration strategy. Within that, uh, in the data migration, first, we'll use the data mapping, which is very important because in the data mapping, we'll see that particular schema is matching with with another schema or not in the in in that same logic. Is is the code is the ID is same in a source system? Is same as in a targeted system? Is there any missing value? So data mapping is very important. After data mapping, we'll go to data profiling where we'll identify the, uh, the IDs to match that particular data? Is there any inefficiency, or is some values are missing? Or or is we can do something, uh, so that the data should be in a particular aligned with a particular schema. And after con uh, clearly, uh, visible the logic and a standardized format, we'll load that, uh, data to a targeted uh, system. With the help of that, we can, uh, merge the the financial data from 2 different companies, uh, into be combined.
Updated with the latest best practices and technology in the ERP Financial Systems. Uh, I, uh, read documents from the latest technology. I've I've taken a a magazines, best practices. Oracle provide a specific magazine in every year. Um, in it is I think it's probably you can find out in Oracle website. So after reading that, uh, diff because Oracle have an different different ERP systems. So at present, the trending will be find out from that of what the command or what at at at present, the best practices were running by the enterprises. So after getting that, I choose the best technology and practices with the help of magazines, discussion with the project managers, uh, managers, the what are the practices they are applying to that particular process or project in the ERP Financial Systems and also, uh, taking any training sessions because different, uh, ERP who who developed ERP systems were, uh, giving in a training sessions. So I attended, and attending all training session are not possible. So but I, uh, try to get information from Internet, uh, Google, or using, uh, latest AI tools so that, uh, I should upgrade with the within a time to, uh, practice the best technology. Yes.
Where you had automate a financial process within the Oracle ERP system, what tool and strategy, uh, did you use? Yes. Uh, I have automate a financial process in within the Oracle ERP system. So the issue is that my NISC in my past experience in NISC, uh, they were not able to, uh, get the exact amount or taking in a time to, uh, get information that the payment is received or not from the, um, customers. So ERP Financial process, uh, automation automate the ARP Financial process is much be needed on that. So with the help of, uh, that bank reconciliation, uh, process, uh, is suitable in that particular scenario. So I help to automate bank reconciliation process, uh, in that Oracle ERP system. So I use, uh, that process that getting in a customer ID and getting an amount in a in a particular time and date, which is very important, date, uh, money, and time and the amount, which is a very important component in a financial process. So with the help of, uh, bank statement, uh, we can we able to, uh, automate the financial process of bank reconciliation. So after doing that, uh, the help of bank statements and, of course, the APIs and and the, uh, SQL queries, uh, help us to get that automate a financial process. But the tools we use is the most important is flow flow diagrams, um, because flow diagram is an important component, uh, in a to automate any processes. So, also, uh, in this process, flow diagram make an game changing rule because the architecture of, uh, traveling the data from one module to another, uh, is a difficult task at that time. And after doing all this, I'm able to get a result that, uh, 40% of the financial processes were successfully converted within, uh, 2 months to and I successfully automate the financial process and get an immersion of reduce the time by 40%. So it's an a great success for me. And first of all, uh, very thank you for your time that you have given given me a chance, and, uh, I can assure that I can give my 100% to get this project successful, and I hope, uh, we may discuss later, uh, on
