ECT Platform Monitoring (ECTMO)

    ECTMO is an application that monitors EIVR production application servers in different datacenter locations. Monitoring on application servers consists of continuously scanning the application log files. In addition, a web script is periodically invoked to collect information about processes critical to the application and report status back to the requestor. Monitoring servers at each data center run processes to receive scanned log data from application servers and write it to the Oracle monitoring database, to analyze data from the database and generate response time and transaction error alert events to Netcool, to feed transaction volume statistics to Netcool, to extract and store data from the database for use by various web reports, and to provide web server hosting for reports and tools.
