Kumar Shikhar

I’m a Software Developer with 7+ years of experience, currently working at UKG on an HRMS product. I focus on authentication systems, helping remove old, unused flows and move products to new authentication setups. Earlier, I worked in the telecom domain, mainly on real-time charging and billing systems (OCS) for 4G/5G networks, gaining experience in large-scale, high-performance systems. I work with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, Lucene, and Redis, and have built tools for database migration, search engines, and HR platforms. I also create both low-level and high-level designs for systems. I use Prometheus for metrics, Docker for containerization, and Splunk for log monitoring. My toolset includes Kafka, Postman, Kibana, JUnit, Mockito, and Linux. I enjoy writing clean code, solving real-world problems, and continuously learning.
