Yeah. So my name is, and I'm from India, Haryana, Beduki. It's a small village. And I'm currently working as an executive creative designer for some educational brands in the UAE. And I have four years of experience in this field, and I've worked with very esteemed and very big brands in India. And, I have a passion, and I have a thing in me that pushes me to create more content marketing, and I like to just do all the content creation. I'm interested in every field that has creativity in it.
I can adapt a print design in format suitable for social media use. If I have a design that is in print format, as I use Adobe Illustrator, it is in CMYK format. To use it on a social media platform, I need to first convert it into RGB format so that the colors and graphics and elements look perfectly fine and appealing. In CMYK, when you print it, the colors flatten the elements so that it looks good on print, but in digital, it may not look as appealing. So, I'll convert it into RGB format, then resize it in whatever format we are using. If we are using social media like Instagram, I'll convert it into a size of 1080 x 1920 for a story size, and 1080 x 1920 for a feed post.
Share my experience where I had to revise my design extensively based on client feedback and what scores my strength. Yeah, I recently, last year, I was the only static designer in an award function ceremony, and they were having too many changes in everything, like fonts, design, background elements. So first of all, I strategized. I planned 2-3 meetings with them to get all the overview, all the things that they wanted to promote, all the things that they wanted to show on their social media and other platforms, and all the print and all the design that they wanted. So I first strategized and created a template, a theme that would be carried forward to all of the things, whether it's a PPT, a story, printout, cutouts, background, backdrops, everything. So that helped me, Q Smith, that helped me to have fewer changes and be more productive and give more creativity in less period of time. And, yeah, changes came, but it was very easy changes that I could do, like, because images and templates are set. So that was the strategy as I opted to.
Illustrate the use of color theory in my past design project and especially in the relation to branding and user engagement. So, color theory is which I use basically to create something for the brand that doesn't have any brand book or any brand color assigned to their brand. I use the theme and the emotions that they want to promote. For example, if they are energetic and want to be quirky, I use bright colors, warm colors that give engagement and warmth to their brand. And if I'm working with a luxury brand, I go for dark, black, and dark shades of brown, golden, minimalistic color palettes to get more engagement.
How do you assess the effectiveness of visual design in achieving marketing goals? Yes, in marketing campaigns, visuals are the most important thing in my opinion because you have to showcase whatever you are marketing. Like, if you're marketing a product, you have to showcase its uses, its benefits, and everything, and what role it will play. And campaigns are like giving an image, giving an impression on their minds whenever they go to a market or wherever they're going. They have that impression in their mind of the brand or the product. So I think visuals are very important in a marketing campaign.
What are some advanced techniques you use in Adobe Photoshop to enhance image quality or marketing materials? Yes. I use the camera raw filter to enhance my images and give them a little more quality. And as a new feature that Photoshop has released is the AI feature, which also helps a lot to enhance my graphic designs and images.
I approach tight deadlines by prioritizing my works, keying which things are more highly prioritized and which things I need urgently. First, I create the most critical tasks. Then, I strategize by keeping the more complicated and complex designs separate. I complete those first. After that, I tackle the easier tasks, which are very easy, so I can manage my time and work effectively in that process.
Yes, so I follow their brand book, in which we can use their brand colors throughout the design process, the same fonts, and the same design elements, not all of them, but a few to maintain continuity and create a sync in all the design elements.
So I'll plan for 2 posting times, per day, 2 posts. One can be a reel or a traffic post, and which will be on different timings. Like, one will be in the afternoon, and one will be around evening or around 9 o'clock at night. And it will be more of a fun, quirky kind of things. And on LinkedIn, as it's a very professional platform, I'll use a curated post to showcase my brand, my things, my strategies, and writing a very detailed and very attractive informative blog. And on YouTube, I'll put some bits and shorts and videos to get more engagement and more views on every other platform that I have using. And on Twitter, I will write engaging responses to the comments my followers post on our tweets, and try to get more engagement on everything that I am posting and creating to get more audience attention and grab more eyes on my brand and my company.
Okay. Yes. Sometimes it happens because a client may not be able to explain or elaborate on their vision. As a designer, when our understanding of their vision differs from their actual intentions, it can be a challenge. In such cases, you can present them with 2-3 different design options, each with unique colors and approaches. This allows the client to choose the one that best aligns with their original idea, helping to quickly get everyone on the same page.
How proficient are you in video editing and motion graphic software? Like, I don't use video editing or motion graphics software as I am more into marketing content and static designs, which is what I do. And I'm mostly interested in marketing and static design.
