Outperformed most of operational KPIs and reduced make goods by 14% YoY in steady state.

Managed a team of 10 SDEs to build a new Customer Notifications experience for Amazons global customer base within tight timelines while minimizing total cost of development & ownership. Reduced customer contacts by 2-3% worldwide by implementing better customer notification mechanisms and self-service processes for customers. Designed a highly scalable personalized email notification platform (powered by machine learning algorithms) that dispatched about 6 billion transactional emails per year to Amazons global customer base.

Volunteer with Eunos Youth Committe in Singapore organizing events such as "One Community Walks" to celebrate Singapore's successful hosting of the first ever Youth Olympic Games. Started the Board Games Interest Group in Eunos Community Club to facilitate interactions among the constituency's youth and to promote inter-racial relations. In one of the more widely acclaimed events, I worked with a team of 5 volunteers to organize a visit by Chinese and Malay school children (Telok Kurau Primary School) to Indian households in the neighbourhood to celebrate the festival of Deepavali.
