Drawing on over a decade of experience in software development, I've spearheaded the digital transformation of major platforms, most notably building Jio.com and MyJio from scratch. My current focus is on enhancing the user experience of a leading telecom website and app, specifically by simplifying the billing and recharge process to increase revenue. I designed and developed the Jio.com/business self-care portal, a critical platform that allows thousands of authorized users to efficiently manage tasks such as bill payments, service requests, and number porting. A key part of this work involved integrating multiple payment gateways, including Paytm, BillDesk, and a custom Jio Payment Gateway. To improve efficiency, I established a one-click CI/CD deployment pipeline, reducing the release cycle from a week to a single day, and implemented feature flags to eliminate release-blocking dependency clashes. I also led a major architectural overhaul, migrating a monolithic system to microservices and adopting modern cloud technologies like Docker and OpenShift, which boosted app and website performance by a significant 35%. This not only improved user acceptance but also increased the user onboarding count. Additionally, I've modernized legacy systems by migrating from obsolete technologies like Java 1.7 and Spring MVC to the latest Spring Boot versions and cloud technologies, and I implemented an active-active disaster recovery solution for our channels. My expertise lies in taking products from conception to completion and driving large-scale digital transformations by streamlining processes and modernizing technology stacks.
