Designed and implemented database schemas and authentication flows in python code for ECGExplorer, ensuring secure, efficient storage and retrieval of medical imaging data in Firestore. Developed RESTful API endpoints and contracts consumed by iOS and web frontends, writing server-side logic for data fetching, validation, and integration with ML model results. Built inter-service communication modules to handle data exchange between microservices, including error handling and performance optimizations. Containerized and deployed backend services with Docker and Kubernetes, automating CI/CD pipelines for scalability, reproducibility, and fault tolerance. Implemented monitoring, logging, and crash reporting integrations, while collaborating with frontend and ML teams to deliver reliable, production-ready features.

Built backend services in Python for ChatECG integrating LLMs with LangChain, enabling generative responses for medical queries and document-based retrieval workflows. Designed and documented RESTful APIs for chat, voice input, and file uploads (PDFs, XML, images), collaborating with frontend teams to define API specs and support integration. Integrated MongoDB with secure schema design, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and PHI compliance for sensitive medical data. Developed ChatECG, an iOS app in Swift with a responsive chat interface for ECG-related medical queries, supporting voice input and file uploads (PDFs, XML, images). Implemented camera functionality and document rendering for PDFs and images, and integrated a JavaScript library via WKWebView to display ECG data. Enabled rich text formatting with Markdown support, improving user experience and medical document interaction.
