Yes, hello hiring manager. So, my name is and I am a creative graphic designer. I have a total of 6 years of experience as a creative graphic designer. Currently, I'm working as a creative designer at Analytics where my job is to create social media creatives, in-house creatives for the marketing team for all the in-house activities, where I'm responsible for creating all marketing collateral, print media collateral, and also design social media ads, display campaigns, and Google performance campaigns. And I have a basic understanding of conversational optimization as well. We have performed tests for that.
Yes, so feedback for any design is very important. At times, we think as a designer that what we've created is good enough, but you need a third person's feedback for the designs where they can identify some of your mistakes or maybe give you a better suggestion than what you think. For example, if I have created an ad for any brand that says book a test drive, it's essential to show it to a third person to see if they would click on that ad. And if their response is no, then you might have to rethink it. You have to show it to us or a few more people to see what more I can improve or how can I make it more clickable so that the user will click. Then how can I encourage users to click on that ad more? So, feedback is important. It's essential to take it in a positive manner rather than being too rigid about the feedback because it can only help you improve if you're taking constructive feedback in a positive manner.
Yes, I have a firm understanding of Figma and Canva. Figma, mainly, I use it for UI and UX component design, designing UI and UX components. And Canva, I have a basic understanding of Canva. Not more than a basic, actually. They offer some of the layouts that are very useful, and it is an easier tool in video editing than some of the adult tools. So, if it is a very quick use. And there is another important thing about the camera. It is a very quick problem-solving tool. Like, if I have to cut a video or add it to do a basic editing in any design, then Canva is more likely to give you a quicker response than other ad hoc tools. In Figma, it is a very important tool, and I think it is a very important tool for the future of UI UX designing. It is already there in the market. So, it is easier to create web layouts, UI screens, and dashboards, even website architecture. So, Figma can be very useful. And I think it is important to have the knowledge of both these two tools because, moving forward, I think these two tools are the future for designers. And apart from that, it is important to have this knowledge of these two tools.
Yes, I have a basic understanding of motion graphics. If I have received proper training, then I'm very happy to upskill myself. And, also, it's an important skill to have as a graphic designer because only graphic design won't take you far; you need to have additional skills like motion graphics. Basically, you're editing reels. Reels are the future. It's already there in the library, so you have to be able to create motion graphic reels and basic video editing because most clients now want to upload their content on Instagram, on YouTube, and even on LinkedIn in a video form. So it's important. That's why, as I said earlier, Canva is useful. It's a very useful and quick problem-solving tool. But if I want to do high-quality video editing or create a video, then after that, I can add a premium option. As a graphic designer, you have to have at least a basic understanding of the. And as I said, if I receive proper training, then I'm more happy to upskill myself in motion graphics and video editing.
Yes. So my current workers workplace there, I collaborate with the customer development and marketing team, media ad campaign team, and human resource team. So for all the in-house work and all the client work, which they offer through media campaign offerings as well, Let's see our cost conversion. So there is a need to make them understand the design principles because sometimes they think that this design will work. They will come up with references, which from a design perspective, may not look good on the digital media platform as a designer. If you have an eye for an iPhone designer, what users like to see on their screen. So it is important to share our experience and our designing guidance that what we have created has been thought out to look good on the screen, what will make users click on that ad, a particular blog, or whatever the post it is, or even make them like or comment on that thing. So, yes, at times, other teammates do come up with complex ideas and they are right. But it is just a matter of requiring a manual design. You as a designer, we have to take several calls that make it important to create designs by just using design principles.
Yes. So I have created a 1-minute video picture where you meet the client's requirement and our internal requirement as well. We then went with the isometric design, other than going with the traditional design. So for me, as a designer, it was a new challenge because, usually, we create just traditional media ad campaigns with click-through CTA's, normal copy, and the elements of the original procedure. But this isometric design was a new challenge for me. I did some research on the current market trend and how it would fit in with the client's requirement. I then thought about how I could create more aesthetically pleasing designs and how I could improve the design aesthetic in this isometric design. So, one of our clients, I did create this type of isometric design. Although it wasn't implemented, the client liked the idea and it's in the consideration phase for future use. So, yes, this is my experience with isometric design.
Yes, so I have created a few blog banners or blog color pictures for my current organization where you have to use the topic. For example, I recently created a blog about the mobile app UX principles, then what are the principles? So I'll just use a basic wireframe of the model. I didn't add any visuals because my main focus was to add a mock-up of a moment, which is just the wireframe. It will give it a click, but my intention was to create a click-through banner for the particular blog. That's why I didn't include any visuals. I just had a basic wireframe on mobile, which gives the mock-up type of filter. There was just a simple design, and then the copy was there. And without even the copy, I think it can convey the message that the blog is about the mobile app UX principle. This is my recent experience. I'm happy to answer this question.
Project designing for offline events, such as this kind of social media. It's important to understand the theme of. I created an offset to collateral and the social media collateral where we are going on a Kumbalgarh trip. So I used the traditional Kumbalgarh element where the main focus is on Kumbhalgarh. So I created a visual of a wall, which is a very famous wall of Kumbhalgarh. I implemented a traditional touch in the design without using any other element apart from the city itself, which gives people a traditional feel of Kumbhav. We are in Kumbhav, and it represents the city as well. It's essential to show in the design when you are creating any color for the paint media and social media to add a bit of touch of that particular place. It's very important to consider when you are creating. If you have the freedom to use your creativity, then you should. Because if the client wants a simple design, then you have to go with the client's call. But you have to sometimes convey the client's vision. It's essential to add a touch, a flavor of that particular event in that. If you are creating a basic or corporate design, then you have to go with the minimal design. But somewhere, you have to add a bit of an element on that event or what the event is all about, be it a webinar, be it a workshop, anything. So we have to add a bit of touch of that event as well to make it more relatable.
As I said earlier, it is important to keep the customer in mind each and every one of them in a workplace, be it a client, we never wanted to disappoint. Everyone will give you feedback that makes the text smaller or the city bigger or changes the image, changes the colors. So I said, you know, how to stick with that situation. It is very important. You cannot lose your mind's focus. So one of the clients many times during in-house designing and in-house maintenance, I do get my design feedback from our CEO or our manager. The note is we'll not because they note some of the current brands and what the CXOs or CEOs of the company are looking for on LinkedIn, and why they will click on that particular portion, not click on what we have created. So if the higher authority is giving you feedback, it's important to understand that they are thinking from the perspective of the big, higher authority or, like, other CEOs or other CXOs. So it is important to take that feedback in a positive manner, and you have to give them the changes they want because they are telling you from their experience. This is what I think. And at times, I get frustrated, but as a designer, it is part and parcel of your role, so you have to take it in a positive manner. But when someone gives feedback, it does matter. Graphic design can't be a ride all the time. So you have to take all feedback in a positive manner and also use some of our creativity as well. That's how we can manage feedback and creativity and complete the project.
So, yes. There are quite a few effects and tools available in the editor and Photoshop where you can use the 3D effect tool. Or you can simply just trace or recreate by using the paint tool or maybe you can use the 3D effect as I said earlier. But you can also create by using the paint tool or the shapes tool as well, like the rectangle and square. Those tools are available. In this software, we can create the illustration into an isometric design by just using basic tools.
There was a one-month event in Singapore where we had to showcase the functionality of our tools by using a Mickey Mouse game. I think you'd like to learn about the Mickey Mouse game. What is it? So I had to. There was a recording of that video, and I had to beautify it. Obviously, the quality of the video wasn't good enough. It was shot using a basic camera. It was shot using a basic camera, and I created a layout where I minimized the size of the video. So the pixelation wasn't in focus. The layout was the main focus in that. And I tried to create a lower frame rate to minimize pixelation, and the back camera angles weren't visible. The major focus was on the layout and the minute details. And then I created content that mattered – the video was the user's priority. So I explained the entire process in just the title or subtitle. So users could understand the whole process without focusing on the camera or video details. By just reading the subtitle or looking at the layout visuals, users could understand the whole process.
This is where I thrive. You know, I have a very good expertise in the Illustrator Paint tool, be it Photoshop or Illustrator or any other tool. I think I'm very good at the Paint tool. So, if the key to the task is to create a very good quality sketch from a photograph, I can recreate that entirely using just a paint tool in any tool or software you want to create. So, it's the paint tool and recreation. This is a very good thing for me, but I think I've misunderstood the question. What I'm comfortable with is creating rules from scratch? Because for the Google, you have to understand the theme, what exactly the theme is, whether you want to go all the way with a complex Google or just a basic Google. So, I have a basic understanding of creating Google, but you'd have to look for the references available on the Internet, be it free, Pinterest, or Dribbble. So, you'd look for inspiration before creating Google. And the sketching part is not my cup of tea, but I'd be happy to learn. However, if I were to draw first, I'd then integrate it into the software, or I'd like to take help from someone who's good at it. Then I can first design the theme for the Google, then draw it on paper, and then work on the software. I think that would be an easier process rather than going straight into the software.
