I have 5 years of experience in graphic designing. And, previously, I worked for a company called iPhone Digitals, and there I gained a lot of skills. That was a design agency, so we got all kinds of graphic designing work there, like flyers, brochures, Google Ad banners, printing banners, and website banners also. Sometimes, UI design was also included, I designed there. So I gained a lot of skills and understand design briefly how to make banners look aesthetic, keeping in mind visual hierarchy, color, contrast, and proportions. Everything should be in a manner that it looks good and also conveys a message to the consumer. And after that, I also worked in a company. It was a gifting company. So I also created a lot of content from campaigns, also social media banners, and also some printing. They had some printing work also there, designing menu cards for their packaging products. So all that I know. And also, I designed the UI content for a particular section, like website banners and creating icons for some sections. We used some icons and like delivery or how we manage our tasks or deliver products. So everything, we designed there.
So I have also made a lot of GIF banners for Google Ads and also make some occasional banners which I animate in after effects. So we design according to the occasion, like what kind of content is there. Like, we have to make a 10 second video. So according to that, I create 2, 3 screens in Photoshop. Then I animate them in after effects and add animations. I also take ideas from Pinterest and some other websites like Behance or Triple for animation, and how they animate elements and make it more easy to understand for our customers.
I identify technology at 9:00 AM. Waiting for a jab. Yeah. I identify technology at 9:00 AM. Like, when AI comes, so it also enhances my creativity. It saves a lot of time. Like, we have to extend images, add some elements in the image, and it makes it look more realistic. And sometimes, yeah, it doesn't work that way. So I create an image by taking 2 or 3 images and combining them to look like a real one. I also know photo manipulation that helps me there. It enhances my design process easily. And also, I keep in mind the color contrast and adjust their lighting, using various graphic tools, like adjusting brightness, what contrast we need, and how to resolve it to a particular element, so which we want to highlight. And so I create in this way.
So when you have a team, they need a design. They want a brochure design for a client. First, I give them one design, but they want a very different design. After that, they hadn't given me any references or guidelines. So after giving my first design and the second design, they gave me feedback on the second design. According to that, I improved my design, which helped me understand what the client likes and how they want their design to look, including the visual hierarchy. With all these considerations and previous feedbacks, I designed the third design and it got finalized.
In and out of design, I was it was my first time, my manager gave me tasks. They assigned me to create a book as our tour of design over leave. So I got that task. And because I know the tools. So, first of all, I went to their previous files, opened them, and saw how they managed their files, like giving bleeds and safe areas, all that consideration, how they formatted their fonts, and aligned them. And after getting all that, I looked at how they gave headings, subheadings, bullet points they used, and the visual aesthetics of that book design. So all that I went through and designed accordingly. And after a few feedbacks because I was designing a book for the first time, I got some feedback, like 2 or 3, and that was a great experience.
So, what is the approach to handling tight lines for looping? I have also designed a lot of social media campaigns banners. We had our deadlines. And according to the pipeline, everything, such as what kind of images, how we'll get images - like, whether it fits a photoshoot, or we will download from the internet from a free site or stock, we can use. And what is the content? According to that, I described my team on how to approach and create, as I was a senior graphic designer in previous companies, so I also guided my unit designers on what kind of visual elements and visual aesthetics to care about and how the content should be, and what fonts to use for particular banners. And if there's a coup or event, we designed them, how to make them pop out. Our tags also, we should keep in mind in banners that they will go on a mobile web platform. So we have to keep in mind about the text also that it should be clear and easy to read so that our message to the consumer is clear. And according to deadlines, we like, if we have tight deadlines, so we design accordingly, at how if we have some Pinterest ideas there. So it helps me. I have five years of experience, so I can deliver from many projects in tight deadlines.
I incorporate feedback by always welcoming it, which has improved my design for the client. This helps me know clients better, understand what they want in their designing, and keep that feedback in mind for upcoming projects. Like, if they want some changes in fonts or design elements, I design everything according to that. For example, I designed for a company. In one option, I used a lot of photo manipulation, and according to the content they provided, they chose that option. In the second example, I went for a simple-looking design that was very visually appealing. Minimal shapes were used, and only the text logo was there. I attached their screenshot as a banner so it would be clear to the customer and give them an idea of what the company is about. This is how I design.
I have also designed for social media, like, the same banner for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook cover. So, for covers, we have a safe area and specific dimensions. They are different from each other. So, I include everything within the safe area, both for mobile and for PC. Because on PC, the area is different. Some areas get cut out on mobile. So I designed accordingly for different media platforms. And, like, we have to use a single main background for all media platforms. So I use the same background. There will be some changing of placement in design elements. Everything else would be the same. And, like, for mobile, we increase the font size, which will be easy to read and convey the message to our consumers.
For a social media strategy, sometimes I use online images according to the content given to us. And sometimes we don't get that image online. So we have to generate it through AI. And there are also some instances where AI is not able to generate. So I basically leverage my experience in photo manipulation. So I cut out images from different images, and then I can use bit of AI generation to make it give that image a more realistic look. This helps a lot. And the algorithm also provides convenience and some ideas as well. This helps a lot. And we also get ideas from AI. Like, I use ChargeGPT to get ideas of how we want to manage social media strategy. According to that, I get ideas from ChargeGPT or other platforms as well. They give me some ideas. After that, I look into our competitors, what they have used, what they have, any new innovations if they have something or any other good things we can include in our design. So according to that, I create a strategy and graphic content for my banners or campaign banners.
I have one and a half years of experience in motion graphics. Like, first of all, in my starting days, I used to create GIFs, but I create a lot of good animations from Photoshop only. So after learning After Effects, it gives me more tools and animation effects. So I am proficient in video editing as well. And I consider opinions, trust, and enhance for good animation, or that helps engaging with consumers to our ads or banners. So I create according to that. And, like, if there is a storyboard also, I design according to the content so it won't look odd. So I mostly use After Effects for motion graphics and video editing as well.
In a social media campaign, I'd like to do an example.
